Parent Involvement

We encourage parent involvement and value your input.

The ELC has several Parent Groups that meet throughout the year, one of those being the Parent Group focued on quality improvement. This Group meets every second month to discuss the Centre’s Policies and ensure that all required standards are being met, as well as maintain the highest level of achievement in these policies.

Parent Information Evenings are scheduled so that teachers can discuss topics that can assist parents in their important role of raising children. Seminars have been held on Health and Nutrition, School readiness and many more.

Parents are a valuable resource to our Centre and we enjoy having parents visit and talk with the children about where they work and what they do. Parents are invited to attend excursions with us and assist where they're able to.
